Accessibility
Everyone should be able to find out about converting their garage and ask us for a price. This page says how we have built the site for that, and how to tell us if something gets in your way.
What we aim for
We build this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the standard most UK websites work to.
What that means when you use it
- Text and buttons stand out clearly from the background.
- You can move around the whole site with a keyboard, and you can always see where you are. A "skip to content" link lets you jump past the menu.
- Every box on the quote form has a label, so screen readers say what to type.
- Photos that show something have a written description. Photos that are only decoration are hidden from screen readers.
- Every floor plan has a written description of the layout.
- The pages work on a phone as well as a computer, with no sideways scrolling, and you can zoom in.
- If your device is set to reduce motion, the site does too.
How we checked
In October 2026 we tested every kind of page on the site with an automated accessibility checker against WCAG 2.2 at levels A and AA. We fixed the three problems it found, and every page now passes. We also checked each page at phone, tablet and computer widths.
Automated checks cannot catch everything, so we welcome being told about anything they missed.
Known limits
- The maps on our area pages cannot be used with a keyboard or screen reader. The same figures are written out beside each map, in the text and in the list underneath it.
Tell us about a problem
If anything on this site is hard to use, or you need information in another way, email [email protected]. Tell us the page and what went wrong, and we will fix it or find another way to help.
If it is easier, we can take your enquiry by email instead of the form. Just send us your name, your postcode and what you would like the garage to become.
Statement prepared 18 October 2026, after testing the site the same day.
