About Garage Conversions Solihull
More room for the way you live now, without the cost of moving. We convert garages into bedrooms, offices, gyms, annexes and living space across Solihull, Birmingham, Coventry and Warwickshire.
What we set out to do for you
Most garages end up full of boxes. We turn them into rooms people use every day, and we keep the whole thing straightforward for you along the way.
Give you the room your home is missing
A bedroom, an office, a gym or a place for the family to spread out. We start from how you want to use the space, not from a set package.
Make it simple from the first visit
One visit to look at the garage and talk it through. Then one written price for the whole job, so you know exactly what you are agreeing to.
Price every job, big or small
Not every garage needs a full conversion. Half a garage, a utility space or a full annexe: whatever you have in mind, you get a written price. It says what is included and what costs extra.
Take care of the red tape
We tell you early whether you need planning permission. Building control checks the work at key stages. When the final inspection passes, you get a completion certificate, which you will need when you sell.
Leave you a proper room
Insulated, heated, plastered and finished to building regulations. A warm, quiet room you use every day, not a garage with a carpet in it.
Big job or small, tell us what you want the garage to become.

A garage conversion is sometimes called a garage room conversion, or simply converting a garage into a bedroom or office. It is the same job.
A room you use every day, under the roof you already have.

Something we have not covered? Ask us when you send your details and we will answer it at the visit.
Ask us a questionHow is a garage conversion different from an extension?
A garage conversion turns space your home already has into a room, so the walls, roof and foundations are already there. That usually makes it quicker and simpler than building out: most single garages take two to four weeks on site.
Who is a garage conversion for?
Homeowners whose garage has ended up as storage and who need another room without moving house. That might be a growing family, someone working from home, or a relative who needs their own space.
What can you turn a garage into?
Almost any room. A bedroom, with or without its own shower room, a home office, a gym, a playroom, a utility room, a bigger kitchen or an annexe. Tell us what you have in mind and we will tell you what the space allows. See ideas for your garage.
Do you take on smaller jobs?
Yes. A full conversion is not the only option. Converting half the garage, a utility space or a simpler finish all cost less. Tell us what you have in mind and we will price it.
Do I need planning permission?
Usually not. Work inside the garage normally counts as permitted development. Check first if your house is listed, because that needs listed building consent, or if its permitted development rights were removed when it was built, as on some newer estates. In a conservation area, changes to the front can need permission.
Which areas do you cover?
Solihull and about twenty miles around it, including Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield, Coventry and the towns of Warwickshire and north Worcestershire, from Stratford-upon-Avon to Bromsgrove. If you are on the edge of that, ask anyway. See every area we cover.
